It's RedhedMary's golden hide!
The tradition of a "golden" anniversary may have originated in medieval Germany where, if a married couple lived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their wedding, the wife was presented by her friends and neighbors with a gold wreath to congratulate them for the good fortune that had prolonged the lives of the couple for so many years.
This hide marks my 50th hidden geocache. So it's an "anniversary" of sorts. So let's make it a golden cache. You are looking for a gold container hidden in a usual way. I received this container as a prize at the New Years event, and decided that it would make a great "golden" container. Believe it or not, it's the first container of this type that I've ever hidden. All of the original swag in the cache is golden, too.
