GEOregon would like to invite you, your family, and friends to join us for the Fifth Annual GEO Gathering (BBQ/picnic/potluck). Tualatin Community Park is located at 8515 SW Tualatin Road Tualatin, OR . There is ample free parking. We will be in the covered area.
There are permanent caches at the tri-park area (Tualatin, Durham, and Cook).
Before you go out caching, we have some fun activities planned:
- Scavenger hunt (for the young and old)
- Cacher Bingo
- GPS accuracy (bring your GPS unit to participate)
- Golden Ticket raffle (if you found a golden ticket hidden in a cache, bring it with you)
GEOregon will provide lemonade, water, hot dogs, hamburgers/vegi-burgers, buns, condiments, and plates/utensils/napkins/etc. We'll even grill up your burger or dog just how you like it!
POTLUCK
For the potluck if your CACHING name (not your given name or your last name but your Geocaching name begins with the following (if your caching name begins with a number, skip over to the first letter), bring:
- A - F: dessert or sweet
- G - L: salad or side dish
- M - P: cookies
- Q - Z: chips
(Please mark you dish if you want it back and remember to bring a serving spoon if needed. If your potluck dish is vegan or gluten free, please mark it so other know.)
Please bring your own beverages if you'd like something other than lemonaid and water (no alcohol is allowed in the park).
