Geocache Description:

Frenchman's bay is a great place for viewing a variety of ducks, swans, cormorants, terns and herons.  From this location you can view a great number of birds.

This cache was placed as a starting and finishing point for a rubber duck race of trackables who are racing back from the UK to this cache.    After a quick dip in a cold bay of Lake Ontario, five duck trackables from Canada are racing across the pond and will be placed in caches while visiting in the UK.  They have been named after some of the friends that I regularly geocache with and myself. The goal for these trackables is to be the first one to make it back to this cache by travelling from cache to cache, before the others and not get lost along the way.   You can reach this cache either by canoe or on foot. The route by foot may become difficult as the vegetation grows higher. The parking coordinates and listed trailheads are for those to travel by foot. If you are lucky you might see deer, beaver or muskrats.   You'll need to get up at the quack of dawn regardless of any fowl weather to be the first to find this one.

Congratulations to GEOMamma and Darkflare for their joint FTF!
