Nottinghamshire's Highest Point
This cache is hidden at the highest point of Nottinghamshire, a mere 205 metres (673 ft) above sea level. It appears there has been some confusion in the past as to whether this or the man-made Silverhill Wood was higher, but now seems to have been solved. The view from Silverhill is certainly better than the lacklustre Newtonwood Lane, which is overlooked by the Severn Trent installation on the 'tump' adjacent which is actually in Derbyshire. 'Climb' both and make your own mind up.
