Located in the Ionia State Recreation Area by Sessions Lake. Recreational Passport is required for entering all State Parks. Park in the parking lot by the Picnic Shelter located close to the Boat Launch. Look for the Walking trail head marker #6 on post by the old Vault Toilets. Follow the walking trail to the cache.
This is a beautiful scenic walk on the Sessions Lake Hiking Trail through the woods and over wooden bridges which has been built over two different creeks. You will be able to hear the water rush over the stones in Sessions Creek way before you reach the cache. If you are lucky, you may spot young deer or turkey in the area. A wooden bench for relaxing is located along the trail. This is one of four Geocaches along this trail. Good luck and have fun.
