Bilbo and the dwarves reach the Lonely Mountain and the Desolation of Smaug the dragon. They eventually find the little side door marked on Thorin's map, but the door won't open, no matter how hard they shove. Bilbo sits on the doorstep to think, just then, a thrush suddenly starts to crack a snail shell against the side door, a load crack is heard and a key hole is revealed. Like Bilbo you too must stand at the doorstep to find the cache.
The difficulty level is based on the high muggle area, the building is now a Whitegate community project cafe. It is open every day 10am - 4pm, up to 27/09, when opening times will be reviewed. Ultimately it is hoped to extend the building to accommodate other community projects. Call in and help keep the building open and used.
A big thank you to Steph Hefferan, Ranger in Charge of the Whitegate Way, for allowing the initial placement of these caches and the cafe volunteers for it's continued return. Have fun and may your quest be as fruitful as Bilbo Baggins’.
