In my line of work as a computer software consultant, I have to train and assist clients with how to use software in their organization. This involves having to go to clients and train / consult on site for days, sometimes months, at a time. Our company is international, so it is not too surprising that over the years I have had to periodically go out on business trips to trade shows and to clients all over the world.
In some cases, I have had to fly to very interesting and remote places. So it is not too surprising that because of the uniqueness of my job that I have had to travel using some common and some not so common airlines.
With advances in technology and the age of video conferencing, and advances in remote access software that were introduced in 2012, I am no longer required to fly to clients as I once needed to,
which is bittersweet as I no longer have to be out of town for lengthy periods at a time, but I also miss flying with some of my most favorite airlines.
I do not know if some of the airlines still exist under the original names, but I would like to share with you some of the top notable airlines that I flew with during the years of 2009 and 2012.
