There are four regular caches and a puzzle cache for the final. By the time you get to the final, you will probably have done the most difficult terrain on the eastern shore of Maryland Some will be easyier than others.
No matter what, tree climbing is dangerous, so be very careful. This may seem silly, but I’m making a list anyway.
1) Adult supervision is required.
2) Go with a partner. (Sorry I’m a hypocrite on that point.)
3) If you get to a tough spot, don’t rush through it. Take your time, think about your next move.
4) Make sure the branch you are depending on is capable to hold your weight.
5) Once you get to the cache, stabilize yourself in a crotch or by leaning with your feet planted. (you will need both your hands to work the cache lid and to sign.
6) Don’t fall.
