White tail deer are a common site around Max V. Shaul State park. They are easily recognized especially when they flip up their namesake white tail. The deer in Schoharie County though often have a problem with traffic, running across the road at dusk or at night. This cache is in a deer habitat keeping route 30 a safe distance away but also letting the deer watch it. Park at the Max V. Shaul pavilion parking area off Route 30 in Fultonham, NY.
