No puzzles, no quizzes, no raffle – just a chance for local cachers to get together and have a good chin-wag over a beverage. A chance to get tips on that cache that has you absolutely stumped or perhaps say 'thank you' to the cache owner who has recently kept you entertained. Do you need help in tracking down the latest tricky cache hide or perhaps a clue to the latest puzzle cache? Here is your chance to find this and much more and discover what that name in the logbook looks like in the flesh.
The Sun Inn is a child-friendly pub with a nice playground for smaller cachers. It has the usual range of beverages and does decent food, according to many reports from cachers. There are also more than 20 caches within 15-20 minutes walk from the pub. We’ll be there from 5pm – 7pm, but come and go as you please.
Please note the return of the 'Summer' hours, hopefully we'll congregate in the garden or the outside shelter (if raining). So come and plan your Summer caching over a beverage or two at the Sun Inn this first day in June.
Please wear a name badge if you have one or we will have write-on labels for your caching name, this will allow others to tell who you are. New cachers especially welcome, come and pick up some tips from local geocaching veterans.
Feeling nervous about attending? Check out the logs from the previous Swindon Chin-Wag events and you should be reassured.
