Geocache Description:

Celebrate VICTORIA DAY 2014 by locating a new cache in an historic area.  The Reynaud elevator was moved here some time ago.  Find the cache and you will have a great view!  Your are looking for a small lock n lock with some CT cache for FTF!

There are many historic caches in the area including the cairn of the now disappeared site of Reynaud (GC2E11D)?.  Did you know that  two families immigrated from France in the 1890s - the Reynauds and the Veys?  Some stil llive in the area.  You can see more  about early settlement of this area at Bonne Madonne (GC3CEGJ) The elevator built in 1929 used by a local farmer burnt down recently. Abandoned in 1986 it was used by the farmer until its recnet fire. The burn out remians are visible as you drive past the farm.

We are delighted to continue our  tradition of  celebrating Victoria's birthday with a new cache!
