Ladies Traditional Cache

Views of two iron age hill forts from this location.  The Ridgeway also clearly visible.

Easy access but rough ground for the last four to five feet.  Tarmac prior to that.

This cache was set by 1st Chiseldon Air Scouts on a troop night.

Busy road, watch for traffic and muggles!

In world war one and two lots of ladies waited here to meet gentlemen at Chiseldon Camp.  This camp saw many UK and American forces personnel stage through into theratre.  To the East of this location is the Ridgeway.  If you look carefully the training tenches from WW1 can be seen on the hillside below the Ridgeway.
