The Friends of Fish Creek hold several weed whackers events during the summer to help rid the park of invasive species. Common burdock is being pulled Monday June 9 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
If you would like to help out, be at the above coordinates by 5:30 PM to meet and sign the logbook.
If you are planning to attend, please check this page for updates closer to the time of the event.
**The Fish Creek Park Staff would like to know how many people will be attending their weed pull and have asked that attendees register using the link provided in the Related Web Page. Just locate the correct date and time and click on “Sign Me Up”. There is also a link to “Common Toadflax” to help you become more familiar with its appearance.
**In the event of inclement weather, please be sure to check the weed pull date on the Related Web Page 2 hours before event time for cancellation or change to time / place.
