Geocache Description:

As we were driving back to Fairbanks from a weekend trip to Valdez, we tried to find a few caches on the way. It turns out, this nice rest area does not have a cache yet so we decided to place one here.

The cache is located near a very nice viewing platform and rest area on the Richardson Highway near Summit Lake. There are also some interesting informational signs about Alaska's wildlife and of course a great view to enjoy.

The cache is easily accessible in the summer but may become a challenge in the winter. In the summer, muggles may also become a concern so watch out for those RVs. Cache is large enough for a travel bug or small geocoin but not much more than that.
