K12: Well Traveled Challenge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Trekkie79: The KCI Challenge Trail was placed over 10 years ago and It’s been a good run but with all the construction and changes to the area going on it’s time for these to go. Thanks to everyone who found them. I know some of the challenges challenged a few people, but hopefully it also brought some smiles as they remembered some of the great times they had caching. I have enjoyed reading the logs over of all the great adventures.

If you have already signed the log and not yet claimed the find feel free to claim the it once you complete the challenge.

Thanks for the memories
Trekkie

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

<<The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. To find the true coords solve the simple puzzle below. This is a log only (BYOP).>>
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.  Fasten your GPSr strap, place your logging device in the full solving position and prepare for takeoff on the KCI Geocache Challenge Express once again.

The log can be signed prior to meeting the challenge requirements, but the challenge cannot be claimed as a find until all requirements are met.  Please report any container issues to the CO for repair.  Any signatures on unauthorized replacement containers will be deleted by the CO.  The average D/T rating for these caches is 1.5/1.5. The higher rating takes into consideration the requirements for meeting these challenges.  Please be aware of the approach of other incoming flights on your taxiway and pull safely to the side to avoid collisions. Have fun and thanks for flying KCI!

And now for the challenge:

For us the greatest joy of caching is seeing the country. Rather than just drive for hours, we like to stop and see the sights along the way. So to make sure we take that time and stop along the way the logging requirement of this challenge is to find a cache in each 10-mile interval from your home coordinates up to a distance of 1000 miles - that's 100 caches.  These caches do not need to be found all in one trip, any caches you have found can qualify (The macro GettingAroundChallenge will create a list for you)

Feel free to demonstrate how you qualify however you see fit, below is my results from the macro
