Placed near the World War II Memorial, this cache honors the “greatest generation”,
those brave Men and Women who fought for our freedom in the war to end all wars.
Among the bravest were the B-52 Bombers that flew into heavy fire to deliver their payload.
Tail-End Charlie was the name given to the last aricraft in the formation of bombers.

We found this memorial one day while scoping out geocache locations and were very moved when reading about all the dedicated soilders honored here who gave their life to defend their country.
