We are very excited to place this cache, as we worked hard as a group to make it! The puzzle is designed with kids in mind, and is easily solved using the provided link, within the description, and the pictures below. It's a small cache with some tradeables, and room for small trackables and, of course, badges/crests!
With this being a Girl Guide themed cache, we thought we would provide a fun puzzle! Have you ever heard of a "Kim's Game"? It's a standard game that's been around since the start of both Scouts and Guiding, and is based on Rudyard Kipling's 1901 book, Kim, in which the game is played as the main character goes through spy training. It involves looking at a tray or collection of objects for a short period and then, once they are taken away, trying to remember what objects were seen.
This is a bit simpler than that, although we did think that that might be really fun too. What we have, instead, is a set of images. They all have something in common and there are numbers connected to each of them. If you follow the web site link we have provided, it should all start to make sense. It is interesting to see how the artwork for these books has changed over the years! The link itself is just one piece of a whole archive collection from Girl Guides of Canada which is also fun to browse through once you have found our geocache.
