Few things are more pleasant than a village graced with a good church, a good priest and a good pub.” Quote John Hillaby 1917 –1996

Brearton. A quintessential Yorkshire village.

You leave all stresses of the day behind as you amble through this village. A breathtakingly peaceful atmosphere: calm, serene, picturesque.

The pub was built in approx 1534 as a coaching inn on the route to York with an extension added on in the mid / late 1800’s.
