Geocache Description:

Welfare Park - Brandon United.

Welfare Park has been home to Brandon United throughout their Northern League tenure.  Situated on the edge of the village, high on the hill with great views of Durham and beyond.

Formed 1968 as Sunday works team Rostrons.  Progressed through Northern Alliance (77-80), Northern Amateur League (80-81) and Wearside League (81-83) before joining Northern League.

Div1 champions 2002-3. Now in the Division 2.

Straightforward cache with a waypoint available for a quick park and grab.

Magnetic Micro.  You'll need to bring a pen/pencil to sign the log, and you may need tweezers to extract.

Use stealth as there are a couple of overlooking windows.
