A great view of the Susquehana and Capital City Airport...minus the electrical lines but you'll get over that quickly.
Most important thing!---At the base of one of the cable anchors there's a magnetic key hiding thing...you'll need that to retrieve the cache which is nearby...within 3 feet I'd guess.
This cache is in one of my favorite spots around Harrisburg. Not many people know about this little park, let alone the awesome view from this cache. It overlooks one of the runways at Capital City Airport across the Susquehanna River and depending on when you go there might be a plane or two landing there and they usually come in directly overhead. If not, you're almost guarenteed to see some traffic from Harrisburg International Airport which is just down the river a little ways. This is my third cache in this location; the first two had to be moved due to muggle activity but I am confident this one will have better success due to it's tricky-ness.
Here's some more info about the logistics of this cache:
-Parking should be done on the side of the street that runs along the park. There's a little pathway that takes you to the bench.
-Please read the directions on how to reset the cache. Also, there's no need to remove anything out of the ground! This is very important because if it's not reset correctly the next cacher will not be able to get it...please don't test this either; I already have and felt the possible frustration it can bring.
-The container that has the log is roughly 3 inches long...just fyi.
-Please make sure to obey the "No Trespassing" signs, there's a big quarry nearby and they don't want us to die so please, heed their signs. You'll be close to the signs when finding the cache but don't go beyond them.
-Definitely bring your own pen (BYOP for you fancy people)
-There's thorns and bushes around the cache so be careful!
