Canora is a small town app. 30 miles N of Yorkton. Like Melville 28 miles S of Yorkton, it is a rail town. In fact Canora got it's name from the old CAnadian NOrthern RAilway many years ago. With a large population of Ukrainian descent, the larges statue welcoming people to town is very appropriate. Not to be outdone by Yorkton and Melville, Canora has sent Cliff Koroll and Cam Severson to the NHL. Saskatchewan really does rule the NHL! And yes, of course, there are many caches here for you to find as well.
