Geocache Description:

The Bigfoot Cache Series will be rated from easy to difficult depending on terrain and my sense of humor, my goal is to get families outdoors enjoying hidden, mysterious and remote areas of the forest.

Keep a eye out for Bigfoot, he has been known to watch over my geocaches,

dont worry he only eats MUGGLES!!

CAUTION: BIGFOOT HAS BEEN SIGHTED IN THE AREA!

This is my first placed cache, I have always loved the forests in our country, I have traveled to forests all over California and Wisconsin and quit a few other states. I wanted to place caches in national forests in areas that arent highly traveled and areas where Bigfoot activity has been high, Since I explore a lot with 4x4 vehicles, I have found hidden areas, that are sometimes mysterious and remote, these are the areas I want to get families exploring, while having fun. Theres no better way to have fun while exploring, than searching for Bigfoot, one of the most popular, searched for creatures on North America.

I will be placing atleast 10 more caches in this series, if not more, and this is the beginning of many more series, I hope to give people a reason to visit every National Forest in Wisconsin, if you have any questions about the area, or history or have comments or complaints, feel free to message me or add a note below, and please let me know what you think in your logs. Keep a watch for future caches in this series getting submitted soon.

You are looking for a medium sized plastic container, and there's room for plenty of small swag, there is a special trackable in there now for the FTF, and some swag that the youngsters will love, and it will hold quit a few trackables, so please leave trackables for the next finders, and every now and then i will leave trackables for finders and special occasions, muggle activity should be low in this area (depending on which route you take), when your done, enjoy the hidden lake nearby, and the abundance of wildlife and watch for bigfoot, since there have been hundreds of real sightings in this area and northern wisconsin from 1979 till as recent as july of 2013 according to the bigfoot sighting websites.

Cache may be accessible during winter with extreme 4wd or snowshoes, or snowmobiles, attributes say WINTER FRIENDLY, but that depends on snow depths and your mode of transportation.

Make sure you follow the waypoints to the service road to park near the hidden trail, if you use service road 2289(marked on brown National Forest Road stake) turn West off of Mountain Lakes Road on 2289, and follow too parking coordinates ( N45 11.643, W088 33.858 ), Mountain Lakes Road is accessibile by most vehicle types, the service road 2289 is accessible to vehicles with better clearance, 4wd is not required, but better clearance height(pickups or suv's) is recommended, due to some minor ruts and washouts, if your car doesnt have good enough clearance or you are concerned, you can walk from junction 2289 and Mountain Lakes Road if you dont mind a longer walk.

AS ALWAYS BE SAFE, HAVE FUN, GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HUNTING!! And congratulations for FTF goes to BARTROD and a close STF goes to GRAM&GRAMPS who were a very close second. THANK YOU AND IM GLAD MY CACHE WAS LOVED BY BOTH, keep a eye out for more caches to be placed very soon!!!
