Jacob's Thinking Spot Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Parking nearby in the farmers market parking lot.   Pay attention to no parking signs and do not disturb businesses on site.    Be on the lookout for poison ivy!

In the early 1900's Jacob Dvoor, who emigrated from the Baltic Region of the Russian empire, established a thriving horse and dairy cow farm on this property, which he named Mine Brook Farm.   His brothers, George and Samual later joined him and the business became known as the "Dvoor Brothers".  The Dvoor Brothers farming operation played a significant role in the development of the Hunterdon County agriculture community. In 1998 the Dvoor Brothers achievement was recognized when they were placed on the honor role of Hunterdon County farmers.
