l castello di Ragogna (secoli VI-XVIII) è situato in un magico luogo isolato, immerso nel verde, sul promontorio roccioso che sovrasta il Tagliamento nel tratto tra Ragogna e Pinzano.
Le prime notizie storiche risalgono al VII secolo: ne parla Paolo Diacono nella Historia Langobardorum, menzionando le rocche longobarde coinvolte nella lotta tra Avari e Longobardi dell'anno 610.
I successivi documenti sul castello di Ragogna si hanno a partire dal XII secolo, al tempo dei suoi feudatari, gli Eppestein, duchi di Carinzia.
Attualmente il complesso castellano è stato recuperato ed è sede di vari eventi: si possono ammirare le cinte murarie, che in origine circondavano l'intera collina, alcune torri, la domus residenziale ora ricostruita.

The Castle of Ragogna (VI-XVIII centuries) is located in a magical and isolated place, on a hill that overlooks the the river Tagliamento between Ragogna and Pinzano.
The earliest documents are dated from the 7th century, when Paul Deacon, in his work "Historia Langobardorum", mentioned the Lombard castles involved in the struggle between the Avars and the Lombards in 610.
The following documents about the castle of Ragogna are dated back at the 12th century, at the time of its vassals, the Eppesteins, Dukes of Carinthia.
The castle has been restored and, nowadays, hosts various events. Visitors can admire the city walls, which originally surrounded the entire hill; some towers and the reconstructed residential domus.

Das Schloss Ragogna ( VI-XVIII Jh.) befindet sich auf einem Huegel, der einen hervorragend Ausblick über den Tagliamento Fluss bietet.
Die erste Zeugnisse liegen um VII Jh. zurück, als Paolo Diacono in dem Werk Historia Langobardorum, die Festungen, in denen Longobarden und Avari im Jahr 610 kämpften, erwähnte.
Im XII Jahrhundert ging das Schloss an die Grafen Eppenstein über.
Noch Heute, nach der Renovierung, ist die Mauerguertel, einige Türme und die Domus zu erkennen.
