Diphda (HIP 3419)
Diphda is a yellow bright giant star in the constellation Cetus. At 96 light years away, it is the 52nd brightest star in the Earth's sky, where it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 2.04. The iron abundance of Diphda is +0.02 (104.7% of the Sun). It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 35.4 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 22,800 and 27,200 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
