This small seating area is on the outskirts of Lympstone, on the Exe Estuary Trail between Topsham and Exmouth.
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS AREA IS NEAR A DROP DOWN TO THE BEACH WHICH CAN BE COVERED BY THE SEA AT HIGH TIDE, SO CARE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN WITH CHILDREN AND DOGS, AND ALSO THE ROAD HERE HAS NO PAVEMENTS.
For further information on the trail see:
http://www.devon.gov.uk/index/environmentplanning/public_rights_of_way/exeestuarytrail.htm
Keen walkers and cyclists could stop off here to rest and enjoy the views, or you could visit Lympstone by train or park your car nearby in the village and walk along to the cache site. Sometimes there are binocular-wielding muggles here, but if you're lucky you can enjoy the peace and solitude all to yourself.
The cache is a small magntic tube - for now ! It does tend do disappear so I've tried a variety of containers over the years!
Wheelchair users can get close to the seats and enjoy the view but would need help in retrieving the cache.
