Center Stage was founded in 1963 as a community theatre, and quickly rose to prominence among other regional theatres. Today it holds the title of "The State Theater of Maryland". The theatre has been a Baltimore fixture for over fifty years, having survived a disastrous arson fire in 1974.
We picked Center Stage to be our first theatre featured in the series because both Matt and Lindsey have worked there.
BEWARE OF MUGGLES! The area is heavily trafficked, especially during shows, so use stealth and caution. When a show is in session, the theatre has a security guard, and the Highway Administration across the street has a security desk that faces GZ. It should be a nice and easy grab, just be cautious.
