The Goosey Gander series consists of 14 caches. It starts at the Walkabout Trail and continues up on a mountain bike trail to a switchback at the 4 km mark on the logging road. Plus there are two Walkabout Trail caches on either end of the access trail.
You are looking for film canisters wrapped with black tape. This cache name was more appropriate when there was still lots of snow.
Turn off Pass Creek Road and follow Goose Creek Road to where the pavement ends. Cross the bridge over Goose Creek and park by the signs (N 49 25.121 W 117 39.214). This is where the Goose Creek Gander Creek Forest Service Road starts. Walkabout Trail is on the right at the base of the road.
A bypass trail marked by green flags starts just below this cache. The main trail is steep, eroded by water, and mostly rocky. The bypass trail is mostly dirt-track but it has long, very steep sections. Both are challenging. They meet up near the cache below.
