What was once a pioneer trail is now a ATV recreation location.
Out in the middle of the west desert of Utah the pioneers passed this way en-route to California. As many as 200,000 used the Salt Lake cutoff trail as a way to rejoin the California trail after stopping in Salt Lake City. I am sure this area has not changed much from their day to today, so enjoy the view and think how they must have felt as they walked past this spot on their trail to a new land of hope and fortune.
