Geocache Description:

One of the Jewels of the Central Coast.  Hakai Provincial Park and its beaches are a must see.  The hike to this cache will take you to several beaches and view points.  Pruth Bay is good a good all weather anchorage.  From there access is via the Hakai Beach Institute.  Public is allowed to cross there property to access West Beach.  Please obey their signs and register when requrested.  Follow the signs to the beach and then head to the south end of West Beach to pick up the trail.  Be sure to take some of the spur trails to the look outs and beaches.

The cache is hidden near one of the beaches where the trail does a 90 degree turn to the beach.  Instead of turning right, turn left and walk about fourty feet and look for a leaning tree the cache is at the base of that tree.  The GPS was bouncing around a bit due to a nearby cliff.
