This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

This cache has been disabled or in need of maintenance for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since my last contact, I am archiving the cache. If you do happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Thanks!

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a regular cache.

WOW! That's a lot of coffee. I couldn't imagine that much coffee, but then again, I don't drink coffee. Anyway, that just happens to be the capacity of that huge Coffe Pot you can find at Davidson Sask. It sure make quit the tourist stop along wiht the huge cup beside it. Built in 1996 out of sheet metal it stands a very high 24 feet tall! And yes, if used it would hold an amazing 150,000 cups of coffee. Now that's a lot of beans! With the huge cup and the murals painted on the coffee pot, i'm sure it has it's fair share of photo opps with passing tourists over the years. It was built  to symbolize Davidson's friendlyness and hospitality. And being the half way point between Regina and Saskatoon, I'm sure it has been the meetingplace for many people from both cities so they could meet half way. Seems to me that's how this Mega caching thing got started......
