T2A-R: Truck Stop (Waihi, Waikato) Traditional Geocache

This is one of a series of caches we have placed on a route from Tauranga to Auckland return (T2A-R). The traditional caches will contain information needed for two bonus caches, one at either end of the trip.

From time to time we travel this route between Tauranga and Auckland, sometimes returning the same day. We have got into the habit of stopping to find a cache or two as a good excuse to take a break from driving, and decided to place a few ourselves.

The co-ords will take you to a police checkpoint for heavy vehicles, just before entering Waihi township. There is plenty of off-road parking here, but the road can be very busy at times so please take care. You are looking for a camoed micro, containing a waterproof log sheet and pencil only (no room for swaps or TB's). The cache also contains one of the clues you will need to locate the T2A-R: Auckland Bonus cache.
