The log can be signed prior to meeting the challenge requirements, but the challenge cannot be claimed as a find until all requirements are met. Please report any container issues to the CO for repair. Any signatures on unauthorized replacement containers will be deleted by the CO. The average D/T rating for these caches is 1.5/1.5. The higher rating takes into consideration the requirements for meeting these challenges. Please be aware of the approach of other incoming flights on your taxiway and pull safely to the side to avoid collisions. Have fun and thanks for flying KCI! (Use caution along this stretch of road. Large trucks pass through here quite often and we've put the caches at nearby pulloffs.)
And now for the challenge: Find caches with a total distance from your home coordinates of at least three million miles and you must provide reasonable documentation that you meet the requirements. Some examples are:
1. For GSAK users you can either export your finds to a spreadsheet and sum the Miles column or use the MillionMileChallenge macro.
2. Use Statistics on your Geocaching.com profile and calculate a total “Distance to Finds”. You’re going to have to use the lower number in the range here and will lose a lot of miles.

3. Geocaching.com calculates the distance for a cache from your home coords. Go through all of your finds and record this number then sum the total. Take a break now and then so you won’t throw something at your computer monitor.
Here is my example:
I used the MillionMileChallenge macro in GSAK to find mine. Click here to go to the GSAK macro resource site.
