Rosie's Retreat Traditional Cache

A small cache placed discreetly in a wooded area in beautiful Thetford Forest, where you may see deer, squirrels, adders and all different types of birds. Tread quietly and who knows what you will see. Please respect the forest - it's home to many animals and they don't want your rubbish. If you carried it with you then carry it back to the car when you go. Thank you.

This has been placed in memory of our dear Rosie, our Old English SheepGeoDog, who loved coming with us on every cache search and who died in May 2013. We have now been joined by two more O.E.S. called Dulcie and Thomas so if you see two Old English Sheepdogs tearing towards you, it could be us!!

There are now four caches in the area as we have a static caravan nearby and Rosie just loved this area. So it's fitting that we put the caches around the area she enjoyed so much and that they are dedicated to Rosie's memory.

Car Parking at N52 25.827  E000 42.007.............. There are several places to park a car in the area but the given co-ordinates are for an area where four or more cars can be parked and should give you a pleasant walk to the cache through mixed forest. There is no set route to the cache, just take whichever paths you like and you’ll have no trouble; you can’t get lost!!

Please replace the cache exactly as you find it. You'll need to take a pen or pencil with you to sign the log.
