Detta är en helt vanlig traditionell cache. Om du vill visa att du har sett en fallande stjärna (meteoroid eller meteorid), då skulle det vara jätte trevligt om du också ladda upp ett foto (frivilligt) vid loggningen av min cache.
INSPIRATIONEN
Inspirationen till denna challenge är Camelopardalid meteorregn eller maj-camelopardaliderna (även kallat "giraff-stjärnfall") som förutspås inträffa för första gången någonsin mellan fredagnatt den 23 maj och tidigt lördagmorgonen den 24 maj. Det är min förhoppning att denna cache blir FTF:at just då med foto från just denna meteorologiska händelse, dock inget krav.

ASTRONOMI
Syftet med denna geocache är att öka medvetenheten om dessa spektakulära astronomiska händelser som inträffar runt omkring oss hela tiden. Astronomi är naturvetenskapen om himlakropparna och universum och är ett av de absolut äldsta vetenskapsfälten och kan spåras ända tillbaka till de tidigaste kända civilisationerna. Blanda dock inte ihop astronomi med astrologi, med den bakomliggande idé att t.ex. våra tankegångar och händelser i den mänskliga världen skulle påverkas av astronomiska fenomen.
Min bakomliggande idé med denna traditional cache är att ta dig till Örebros Sörbykullen för att ta en "selfie" av dig, en fallande stjärna (meteoroid eller meteorit) och din GPS. Dock är detta inget krav. Även bilder tagen var som helst i världen är kul, inte bara vid GZ, även som det är en utomordentligt plats för att ta en sån bild.
Annars är det bästa sättet att göra detta precis som i geocaching, att ta dig ut ifrån bekvämligheten av ditt hem och ditt bostadsområde, att åka ut i naturen eller besöka en närliggande kulle eller berg, för att bäst undvika bländning av stadens ljus. Naturligtvis bör man även veta när ett meteorregn är mest sannolikt.

This is a simple ole traditional cache. If you'd like to show that you've seen a falling star, then it'd be nice if you also upload a photo (voluntary) when logging my cache.
INSPIRATION
The inspiration for this cache is the Camelopardalid meteor shower or "giraffe falling star" that is predicted to occur for the first time ever the night of May 23 and early morning of May 24. It is my hope that this cache will be FTFed with a photo of that meteorological event, although not required.

ASTRONOMY
The idea behind this cache is to raise awareness of these amazing astronomical occurrences that happen all around us, all the time. Astronomy is the natural science that studies celestial objects, such as stars, galaxies, planets, moons, and nebulae, and the physics, chemistry, and evolution of such objects. However, don't confuse astronomy with the pseudoscience, astrology, where the premise is that there exists a relationship between astronomical phenomena and events in the human world.
My underlying idea for bringing you to Örebro's Sörby Hill is that it's a good place for a “selfie” of you, a falling star and your GPS. But this is by NO means required. It would be just as fun if your photo is taken anywhere else in the world, not just at GZ.
Otherwise, finding a good place for your selfie is just like geocaching, you must leave the confines and comfort of your home and neighbourhood, venture into the countryside or visit a nearby hill or mountain, all to escape the glare of city lights. And of course it's a good idea to find out when a meteor shower is most likely to occur.
