This cache is placed very close to the first house I lived in, from July 1982 to November 1987
207 Gypsy Lane - the house on the end, last one before the railway bridge. My bedroom was the small room at the front looking out onto the road - I remember as a small person watching the lorries get stuck under the bridge, walking to the corner shop with mum as well as picking blackberries in the garden - on to which one side of it was the Midland Main Line.
Alas the 'rooty' tree ( named for its errr large roots ) is no longer there and the wonderfully cultivated garden is now grassed over. We had to move as the arrival of my sister in 1986 meant the house was too small to accomodate us all....
