This cache is placed in a public area of Interior, SD. Though small in population now, this town was actually first located along the White River, just south of present day Interior. When the railroad came through in the 1920's, the town was moved to where it is now to be closer to the rail line. Interior and the surrounding small towns along the rail line are all rich in homesteading and cowboy history. Have fun!
