The title of the cache, by the way, Requiéscant in pace, is Latin for "May they rest in peace." That's what R.I.P. stands for, if you see it on a grave marker. As you walk through the cemetery, take a look at some of the old iron crosses that serve as grave markers. They were made by the locals, some more than a century ago. You may also notice many of the graves are marked in German, as the locals are mostly of German-Russian descent. Many of the townspeople here can still speak a dialect of German.
