A metal ammo can hidden within Valley Ridge Greenbelt Park. The park is open everyday 7 AM to 10 PM I have found many types of caches in the ensuing years, but an ammo can has always held a sentimental value to me. They are the most durable geocache container IMHO. I just have, and always will favor them. I am not opposed to good micros but they just can't match a full size cache. In my travels I have seen some very creative hide and camoflauge techniques, on both full size and micro caches. Although it is much easier to hide a micro, a geocacher who takes the time, can disquise an ammo can to blend in with it's surroundings as well as anything.How hard can it be to find an ammo can? Well, this cache will not be an easy find. Take water, bug spray, and plenty of patience. We recommend that you pass on this one, especially if you think you will just walk up and find it, even though it is a metal ammo can.
If you like a challenge, and are eager to see if you can do it, then please go for it. If you do find it, We believe it will be like no other cache you have found, at least not in the local area. Hopefully, you will appreciate the effort it took. We just please ask that you not tell others after you find it (or post spoilers in the logs), but instead let them go thru the same effort as you did. Forgot to include a writing utensil ,bring your own weapon of choice of writer's and authors.
