London. The Final Frontier! These are the voyages of an international group called the GE-O-CACHE-RS. Their four hour mission: To boldly meet whom they never have met before.
Meeting new trekkie-cachers this is the reason for this event. You're not into Star Trek? You're welcome to come as well! We are meeting at The Mayflower Pub & Restaurant - the oldest Pub on the banks of the River Thames (117 Rotherhithe Street, London SE16 4NF) on Thursday, October 2nd @ 6:30pm - ending at around 10:30pm
In order to make this a free event I reserved only 2 tables for a few people. Everybody else is free to come at a first come - first serve basis and very welcome to spread throughout the Pub. I'll be around with a logbook somewhere! I will also bring a box for travelbugs and coins. Feel free to bring your travellers along for swapping and discovering.
Please, log your "will attend" with the number of people you have in your party and your real names so that I can bring along name badges!
The Pub is open until 11pm and food will be served until 9:30pm. I hope you all find your way to the Pub sooner or later. I fear that the Pub is not wheelchair-accessible and London Overground's Rotherhithe Station isn't either.
Since I am leaving home on thursday morning and I promised the patron to give an estimate of the people attending I am sorry that I cannot accept "will attend"'s after Tuesday, September 30th, 10pm BST.
I am looking forward to meeting you! Yours, Kai
Attention: There are always works to the Transport For London Network. You can find a look-ahead that already includes track- and station-closures for the event-date and the Destination StarTrek weekend. You can find the Information at TfL's Website (what's the plan?).
