Lake Waikare and farmland
This cache is placed in a small rest area with a good view of Lake Waikare. Mrs nzkites has some fun (and not so fun) memories of sailing on the lake with her brothers. We were surprised and disappointed when we last visited the area to see how polluted the lake had become. The sign says it all.
Please be stealthy when retrieving and replacing the cache as we see a previous placement here was muggled several times.
