Geocache Description:

This is a two stage multicache. Look for a camoufaged waterproof matchstick container at the first leg and a plastic ammo can at the final. You can Park at the end of Casselberry road and start your journey from there.

My grandson Alex, AKA BamBam, has been enjoying geocaching lately with his Mom and Dad, so my daughter decided to put together a cache box with a Batman theme as that character is one of my grandson’s favorites. She asked me to hide it and that was her first big mistake because I hid this one Paleoman52 style, LOL! I decided to make this a fun 2 part multicache and place it somewhere midway between my house and hers. Carlton Hill area was the perfect place for this cache so I went to a place I first went to back in 1995. There was an Eastern Primitive Rendezvous held here for a week back then and I stayed a couple of days in this out of the way place and lived as a furtrader, or mountainman as we are often called. The Pine trees are much bigger now than they were almost 20 years ago so I really enjoyed my visit there to place this cache.

Now a little about this cache! First off you need to find Bank Street and then look for Casselberry Road. Drive to the very end of Casselberry road and you will find a nice little parking lot to leave your vehicle in and start your journey. The first hide is a camouflaged, waterproof matchstick container that is hidden right out in the open but blends in very well. No need to remove the whole container from its spot, just remove the cap! Once that is found you will trek a little less than a quarter of a mile to the final. There are some paths to follow, so look for these. Remember that the shortest route is not always the best route! The final is very well hidden, but it is a plastic ammo can so how hard could that be to find? Please be sure to hide the container as well as you found it to make it fun for the next person. As the season wears on the grass will get taller so be prepared for this. Also you may want to wear some good knee boots as there are some wet areas along the way. OK, that’s all you need, now go out and find this cache and take in the sites along the way.

One last thing I would like to ask of any finders that complete this cache, please leave an online log and also leave a note for Alex as he will be really excited to read your comments, thanks!
