This cache will take you to the village of Dunure.
As a student, famous Glasgow architect Charles Macintosh and his great friends, known as 'The Immortals', spent weekends and summer vacations at two rented cottages in Dunure. Soak up[ the ambience of this delightful little coastal retreat which looks almost exactly the same today as when Charles and his pals visited for their lively holidays near the historic ruins of Dunure Castle.

Discover the stunning scenery and fascinating history of Carrick, Ayrshire through the Carrick Community Heritage Trail. Tucked in the South West corner of Scotland are many picturesque villages and towns where you can discover a little of their history, culture and wildlife.
