Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to Maybole.
6 etched stainless-steel boots mark some of the old locations of the boot and shoe factories which dominated Maybole during the 19th and 20th centuries. In its heyday, over 1 million pairs of boots and shoes were exported worldwide every year from this small town, which also happens to be the ancient capitol of Carrick.


This cache can be located on Lovers Lane, a secluded small woodland walk. Cache can hold small swaps and Trackables.
