Geocache Description:

Another day to get out and take a walk along the River Walk Trail and do some geocaching

I usually don't believe in micros in the woods, but I found a perfect spot to give this cache a good cache rating.  Getting to this cache is a beautiful walk along the River Walk Trail outside of Ft. Riley.  Along the way you may encounter some wildlife, runners and bikers.

If you bring your pets, please bring stuff to pick up after them.  There are those that do not pick up after their pets and makes not walking/biking on the trail any fun.  So, be responsible pet owners

****WARNING****

Poison ivy can be found growing in the area.

Here are the following three forms Poison Ivy grows:

1. as a trailing vine that is 10–25 cm tall (4 to 10 inches)
2. as a shrub up to 1.2 m tall (4 feet)
3. as a climbing vine that grows on trees or some other support.

The following three characteristics are sufficient to identify poison ivy in most situations:
(a) clusters of three leaflets,
(b) alternate leaf arrangement,
(c) lack of thorns.
