Geocache Description:

This geocache has been placed to celebrate the reopening of an ancient Forest of Dean route-way by linking and upgrading disused public footpaths and tracks, to reconnect the villages of Blakeney and Soudley. The route follows the Brook for most of the way, leading from farm fields near Blakeney, to the thick Forest near Soudley. The Forest is home to numerous varieties of trees, but look out for the Xmas trees for this Geocache. Thanks to the Forestry Commission for their permission on this geocache.
