Rather than going to yet another pub, we're going to have a summer picnic. The designated co ordinates are for the car park at Orlestone Woods. There are *NO* facilities of any sort whatsoever there; so it's bring your own picnic, blanket, chairs and tables. The event is littlun and dog friendly, but as always, keep an eye on them...
We'll be picnicing with the permission of the land owner (the Forestry Commission) who has asked that we clear away any rubbish we might generate.
Be warned that the car park has a barrier which we cannot open, so any vehicles over seven feet in height won't be able to get in.
There are a lot* of caches to be found round and about the area, but none within walking distance; hence the relatively short duration of this meet which is from mid day to 2pm.
