Little_Princess22: Unfortunately, it seems to be gone and I don't live in the area anymore. It was fun while it lasted. Goodbye to the shotgun!

Geocache Description:

Memorial Day is a US federal holiday wherein the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces are remembered. The holiday, which is celebrated every year on the final Monday of May, was formerly known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century, Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service. It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end.

On Memorial Day, batteries on military installations fire a 21 gun salute to the nation's fallen. As well, batteries at Naval stations and on ships, fire a salute of 21-minute guns and display the ensign at half-mast from 8 a.m. until completion of the salute.

This cache should be relatively easy to find, but the real fun begins after you’ve located it. There is enough room for some small swag and trackables. Please be stealthy and hide it better than you found it. Also, please follow the directions on the cache container so that future cacher’s can enjoy the same experience you’ve had.
