Geocache Description:

This cache was originally part of the Junction Ramble series but due to problems with several of the caches the series has been abandoned. This cache is now a standalone.

The cache is on the road which if followed back down to the river would come to Nun Appleton Hall. This estate was originally a Priory, until Henry VIII got his hands on it. The current hall was built in the late 17th century but the lovely building is now sadly closed and appears to be falling into disrepair. After finding the cache, you should thus turn around and head back towards Appleton Roebuck.
