At this cache you'll find a great view and a special place for a picnic.

You will appreciate this area after a long walk out to the Penisula. The cache is in a camo Tupperware container. At time of placement it contained some emergency kit items you may need such as AA batteries in case your GPS dies, some tape and gauze for cuts/scrapes. Most importantly there is a $2.00 Tim Horton's gift card that you can treat yourself to once you make it back to the main gate.

** Note: Parking area at the foot of Leslie St., Read Sign for closing times, they *will* lock your car in. Additional street parking available outside the gate(suggested)

It's a short hike from the entrance off of Leslie and Unwin (N 43°39.142' W 079°19.378'), parking is nearby but pay attention to gate closing times, they *will* lock your car in, however if you're on foot/bike/roller blades you can easily bypass the gate.

The Leslie spit is open to the public on holidays and weekends during the day, but only after 5:00pm during the week so please take this fact into consideration when planning your trip.

Please note: pets and unauthorized vehicles are not permitted at the park.

The Leslie Street Spit, or officially the Outer Harbour East Headland, is a man-made headland in Toronto, Canada, extending from the city's east end in a roughly southwesterly direction into Lake Ontario. It is about 5 kilometres long.
